A common question for all bloggers is how they make money
from advertising. Since
Google AdSense is the most popular advertising network
in the world, many must ask how much Google AdSense can earn in a month. How
much traffic do you need to earn $ 100 per day with AdSense?
I started with AdSense when the page views of my blog
increased dramatically. Maybe it was around 60,000 - 100,000 page views per
month when I started experimenting with AdSense. I tried different ad
placements to see if advertising revenue is increasing. I will share some of my
results with you in this article.

As an exemption, I do not even earn $ 100 per day with this
network, but I have some statistics to share with you. There are terminologies
that are still used in the world of advertising, and here are the definitions
of some of them.
RPM: sales per
mile / sales per thousand impressions. That's what you earn by 1,000
impressions in the ad. This is different from the visits to the page. For
example, the visualization of a page can generate three impressions if it has
three different advertising spaces on the same page. This means that
impressions are always greater than your visits to the page (if you have more
than one ad).
CPC: cost per
click this refers to how much the advertiser pays per click. It can be as low
as $ 0.10 or as high as $ 10. The cost depends largely on the niche and origin
of the audience. Hearings in the US UU They are becoming more popular as
advertisers are willing to pay more. If your traffic comes mainly from India,
it is usually much, much lower. It all depends on how much advertisers want to
spend.
CPM: cost per
mile / cost per mile impression CPM ads differ in what they pay for
impressions, not clicks. The CPM rate is generally lower than the CPC because
impressions do not require clicks and it is much harder to get clicks.
What influence does
the AdSense RPM have?
By asking what the RPMs are, you really wonder what affects
your AdSense salary, since they are one and the same. Two bloggers can receive
100,000 page views for their blogs, but their income can vary considerably.
Here are some reasons why.
1. Where does your
traffic come from?
Let's be honest here. US traffic UU It is probably one of
the best if you intend to win with AdSense. This is because advertisers are
willing to pay much more for a US audience. If your traffic comes mainly from
India, a much lower RPM is expected.
You will probably need a lot more traffic to earn $ 2,000 a
month from AdSense.
Look at the statistics above. It's from my own blogs (mostly
ordinary critics). I receive visitors from many countries and the CPM printing
rate is much better in the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, etc. If
you look at India, you will notice a much smaller amount of only $ 0.09. On the
other hand, the United States is at $ 1.91. Great, big difference in RPM!
They need more than 10 times more traffic from India to earn
as much as a US audience. Or Great Britain, because they seem to give me one of
the highest RPM, according to statistics.
Therefore, the traffic is not the same. When your target
audience is, RPM / turnover has a significant impact.
2. What is your
place?
Your niche also has a big impact on your AdSense earnings.
Niches that are popular and highly competitive usually have a great AdSense
RPM. For example, money, health, fitness and all kinds of niches that compete
with many advertisers generally give you a better RPM.
My blog (Ordinary Reviews) is mainly based on blog
suggestions, making money, crypts and my own personal reviews. Here is a
general description of my earnings and other statistics.
This is the statistic of my last 7 days. The RPM on the side
varies from 3.85 to 6.09. That's about 50% of my visitors from the United
States and the United Kingdom. It could be much higher if I had another niche
or if all my traffic comes mainly from the United States or the United Kingdom.
That said, it's probably not enough for most of you to live.
Take December 6. It had 7,643 page views, which yielded 42,051 impressions,
since it had approximately 3 Internet ads, 2 sidebar ads and 1 footer. There
are already many ads and I do not like that, which makes the user experience
difficult. Again, I have to cover my expenses as a blogger. I cannot use ads if
I have more affiliate sales.
The RPM print, as you can see, is only $ 1 or less.
Impressions mean that people have seen ads and have not clicked on them. The
clicks are different and give a better RPM.
You can see that my earnings are around $ 20 to $ 40. It was
much lower much earlier, which brings me to the third point.
3. Ad placement is
crucial for AdSense
Yes, the number of ads can affect your earnings, but the
publication of ads is also very important.
Previously, I only used 2 ads in the sidebar and 1 footer.
The estimated earnings per day were well below $ 10.
Later, I inserted two text ads in my longer articles and
this resulted in better profits and started spending more than $ 10 per day up
to a maximum of $ 20 per day.
If you look at the image above, it tells me approximately
how many impressions, clicks and RPM I receive for each ad. Of course, I
labeled my ads differently to better understand where I placed the ads. All the
ads in the content / in the article / in the text gave me the best number of
clicks. My first two ads gave me the most clicks in a few weeks.
My income was approximately $ 20 at that time. However, I
added another text ad and changed everything. I added one right after the first
paragraph of each article and the clicks were much more than the rest.
If you are an
affiliate reseller, you can use ads or not.
Some professional bloggers completely avoid ads because they eliminate their
audience from their blog if they can earn more with affiliate products or their
own products.
